Marabica is a coffee producer based in Kenya that needed a new website to showcase their brand and products to potential customers. They wanted a website that would effectively communicate their story, quality of their coffee and promote their e-commerce platform. Octopus Designs Kenya sub-contracted Proficient ICT to design a new website that would meet their needs. The previous website was outdated and did not reflect the quality of their coffee.

Approximately 30% of coffee farms worldwide have established an online presence, such as a website or social media presence, to showcase their products and engage with consumers.


E-commerce Adoption

Among coffee farms with an online presence, around 50% have integrated e-commerce functionality into their websites, allowing customers to purchase coffee directly from the farm.


Global Reach

About 70% of coffee farm websites offer shipping services to international customers, enabling them to reach a broader global market and expand their customer base beyond their local region.

We developed a customized design that effectively communicated their story, quality of coffee, and e-commerce platform. The new website is mobile responsive and easily navigable, making it easy for users to access information on the brand and its products.

Furthermore, we provided social media management services, establishing and managing accounts on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Through a strategic content plan, we produced engaging posts reflecting the church’s values, fostering community engagement and participation.
